With Melbourne being one of the world’s “most livable cities”, one does not expect the illegal trafficking of young women into sexual slavery. In reality there are many faceless trafficked victims – and these girls are usually deported and sent back ‘soulless’ to the poverty of their homeland.

I wanted The Jammed to be immediate, gritty and powerful -- heavy with contrast and contradiction.  Several stories weave together in flashbacks and flash forwards until they collide.
